Thousands of workers are occupying their town centers and parks to create a world
where human life is not dominated by corporations and banks. But where should we start?

Is corporate personhood the problem?

Did the banks and housing bubble alone cause the economic crisis?

Would regulations like Glass-Steagall have prevented the economic meltdown?

Can better laws successfully reign in corporate greed and financial corruption?

Socialists argue that this economic crisis began in the mid 1970s and that this
recession that started in 2008 like the Great Depression of the 1930s is the natural
outcome of a system based on profit rather than human needs.

Come hear a stimulating panel discussion around these important issues.
