"Our Gay Bodies, Ourselves‏" NYC, April 22, 2011

On Friday, April 22, Men of All Colors Together will explore what we, as gay men, think of ourselves. This exploration will take place at 8:00 PM at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center located at 208 West 13th Street in Manhattan. There is a $5.00 suggested donation to help defray room rental.

In this evening’s meeting we will put a gay spin on Our Bodies Ourselves the controversial book on women”s health and sexuality. Considering the fact that many of us have undergone physical changes as we’ve matured how do we view ourselves as mature gay men?

Back in the day when we were young, hung and full of cum all we needed to pick-up a guy was a pair of tight jeans and a snug t-shirt. Now that we have gotten older relaxed jeans and a loose fitting shirt are now more our norm. Not all that sexy huh?

Do we still consider ourselves attractive even though our bellies have gotten bigger and hairlines more elusive? Has our taste in men and sexual activities changed as the years marched on? We will look at these and other issues related to gay men and aging in today’s society. Hopefully we will find some common ground and hints on how to maintain a positive self image as we grow older.
